I am an experienced MD physician psychiatrist , double board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, with over three decades of experience. I’m a graduate of UC Berkeley, Tufts University School of Medicine and Walter Reed Army Medical Center’s Post Graduate Training in General Psychiatry, as well as in a Fellowship for Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. My training focused on psychodynamic psychotherapy as well as more medical psychiatric skills. People come to me when they feel stuck in long‑standing patterns of thinking and coping that don’t get them where they wish to be in life. In our work together, I offer a warm, thoughtful space to explore what’s happening beneath the surface, at a pace that feels manageable for you. I aim not only to relieve symptoms, but to deepen your understanding of yourself so that new options and ways of living can emerge.
